Elmer is on his way to visit Grandpa Eldo. He has great fun reminding Eldo of all the things they used to do together, but is Eldo quite as forgetful as Elmer thinks? He may be old, but he is an elephant, after all, and elephants never forget. Do they?

After days of being in a cave with the rest of his herd due to torrential rains, Elmer the patchwork elephant is ready for some time alone, but first he must get help to rescue Young Elephant from an island formed by flood waters.

Two friends of Elmer the patchwork elephant want to play a trick on him with help from Snake, but Snake and Elmer have plans of their own.

The elephants aren't happy, because the hippos river has dried up, and they moved to share the elephants' river. Elmer, the patchwork elephant, decides to investigate to see what happened to the hippos' river. He discovers that if the hippos and the elephants work together, they can move the rocks that fell that are blocking the hippos' river.

When a dragon is spotted, the whole kingdom fears a fiery attack is imminent! The king organizes his army into hunting teams. But Melric knows that not all dragons are fierce - in fact some like nothing better than chocolate cake...
