Caillou gets laryngitis and loses his voice so he spends the day playing charades in order to communicate. Caillou and his friend Leo spend the day looking for a a lost toy airplane and find everything but. When he goes to visit his grandpa, Caillou is given a very special place to hide. Real kids play hide-and-seek. Rexie uses magic to help DeeDee find her "precious thing."

Caillou learns two very important lessons in this episode- patience and persistence. Caillou, his father and his grandfather go for a walk in the woods and try to catch falling leaves. In the second story, Caillou learns to tie his shoe laces. In the third story, Caillou's father teaches him to swim. Finally, after Caillou takes a bad fall off of his bicycle, he learns that he has to get back on again.

In Caillou Outdoors, Caillou makes a scarecrow to protect his garden, takes a road trip with his family and plays with a special visitor named Alan who has Down's Syndrome.

Caillou gets into trouble on the grocery shopping trip with his mother and little sister.

Caillou is learning to skate. With a lot of tumbles, the help of a chair and loads of encouragement from Mommy and Daddy, Caillou begins to get the hang of it.

Everyone's lending a helping hand today. Caillou plans a surprise birthday party for Grandpa with Grandma's help. He and Grandma get everything ready, and Grandpa is very surprised and very happy.
